Would be the second A31(s) board: http://linux-sunxi.org/Category:A31_Boards

And none of them runs currenty Linux, so unless you want an Android toy or are a NetBSD developer the board seems to be pretty useless...

EDIT: Regarding the Hummingbird I've been wrong. There appeared an early dts file a month ago in sunxi-next: https://github.com/mripard/linux ... t/arch/arm/boot/dts

I don't use SATA so still looks good for me

Pretty sure A31 has a higher chance of proper XBMC / KODI HW decoding as well.
One of the XBMC sponsors is http://www.vidon.me/
And I'm pretty sure their Android XBMC boxes are A31 based.

For a sales perspective, it competes nicely and beats the Raspberry Pi B+.
4x USB is handy (Keyboard / Mouse / WIFI)

The same here : without SATA, it's a bit useless.
About Linux, if it can run Android, I'm pretty sure it can run Linux as well (as the kernel is the same).

Who said it wouldn't run Linux?

I couldn't imagine it running anything else apart from Linux.

The problem regarding Linux is this: http://linux-sunxi.org/GPL_Violations (it's about closed source -- Android toy -- vs. open source -- Linux capable device that can be used for more than just a headless server).

We all can hope that the situation regarding A31(s) and especially its powerful PowerVR GPU will change with the BPi-M2. There's a reason why there are so many A31(s) Android devices and even after 2 years in the market the Linux support for A31(s) is still in its earliest stage.
