apt-get update not working due to libstdc++.so.6

2 2257
Hi all,
after nothing really special (maybe updates or basic installations), my Bananian cannot run apt-get update anymore:

  1. root@bananapi /usr/lib/apt/methods # apt-get update
  2. /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.son6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  3. /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.son6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  4. E: Method http has died unexpectedly!
  5. E: Sub-process http returned an error code (127)
  6. E: Method /usr/lib/apt/methods/http did not start correctly
  7. E: Method http has died unexpectedly!
  8. E: Sub-process http returned an error code (127)
  9. E: Method /usr/lib/apt/methods/http did not start correctly
  10. 100 root@bananapi /usr/lib/apt/methods #
Copy the Code
Also, my X server seems not to work anymore, as well as my VNC (black cross cursor on VNC).

This libstdc still exists, and I have never changed anything on it.
  1. 127 root@bananapi /usr/lib/apt/methods # apt-cache search stdc                              :(
  2. libstdc++6-4.6-dev - GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (development files)
  3. x11-xserver-utils - X server utilities
  4. libstdc++6 - GNU Standard C++ Library v3
  5. root@bananapi /usr/lib/apt/methods #
Copy the Code
I cannot use apt-get install for example, because all the sources are emtpy. I tried apt-get clean; apt-get autoclean

I reported this bug. The first note was that it could be a SD card problem. However, the dmesg does not show anything weird.

Any idea ?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

It might come from here:

  1. 64 root@bananapi ~ # ldconfig -v                                             :(
  2. [1]    2308 segmentation fault (core dumped)  ldconfig -v
Copy the Code
I remember that I tried to install an application that needed to use a cross compiled version of a library. I remember I run this command and I had no problem.
