Maximum SD Card size

8 7620
Hi,

Do you know if Banana Pi Pro supports 128GB SD Cards? What is the maximum size?

I couldnt get 32GB card working (worked fine in my phone), just 16GB. But maybe it was just a bad luck.

It seems pretty odd.

Banana Pi specs say 64GB is supported but Banana Pi Pro specs lack that info.

The specs on Wikipedia says that SD cards up to 64 GB are supported. I run my BPi with a 32 GB SD card successfully.

Wikipedia is just copy&paste from LeMaker's wiki. And the whole thing is about the A20's capabilities (there's nothing special related to Pi or Pro) and kernel drivers.

SDHC (limited to 32 GB) should always work if you ordered not a fake, SDXC introduced some challenges: http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php?topic=1603.0

I can confirm that Banana Pro works fine with Samsung's MicroSDXC 64GB EVO Memory Card (MB-MP64DA/EU):

Due to host side limitations every SD-card on any A10/A20 based board maxes out at 16.x MB/s. Please compare with http://forum.lemaker.org/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=12967

Ok, thanks.
So if I understand the maximum would be a SanDisk Ultra 64 Go Classe 10 UHS-I (Read 48 Mo/s, Write 15 Mo/s)
