I want to connect a GPS receiver to the Banana Pro, but it doesn't recognize the PL2303 chip as serial port.
The USB enumeration finds it.
Am I missing the driver or what can I do to make it work?

The goal is to connect a GPS receiver. I'm also open for other solutions that give me GPS data.

Thanks!

No connection is simple enouge but maybe you can tell who is manufacture of GPS unit, what chipset it use?

Maybe you can wrote some step by step instruction and show to all of us how you mad it. I'm hardly sure there is few traps on the way for those guys who never work with GPS before.

Sorry I must say that, Your sarcastic response was not realy what I expect from someone who begin this topic. I belived if Author of topic saying "I made it" He is indicating "you can do the same with my help." Forgive me if I get you wrong .
