Problems with Network Adapter (WLAN)

1 1664

i've got Problems with my Network Adapter on my Raspian with OMV running.
I'm connected to my WLAN via WPA2 and in general, everything works fine.

Sometimes, when my wlan decides to disconnect due to energy reasons, my B-Pi wont reconnect automatically. I have to plug in a keyboard + HDMI and have to manually disable the network service and turn it up again (service networking stop and service networking start, if i have it right in mind). After then he gets his IP back by DHCP and it works again.

Is there a way to tell Bananian to keep try to reconnect every now and then so i dont have to do this manually?
Thank you.

Best Regards,
Hi erythana
did you disable the power save mode for your WIFi dongel?
/etc/modprobe.d/8712u.conf with:
# Workaround for dropping connections because power save
options 8712u rtw_power_mgnt=0 rtw_enusbss=0
but the *.conf name depends on your driver for your dongel.
