hello
what is the password for lubuntu 3.0?
hjoe
bananapi
works for me

dlanor
That's correct. And to log in with full admin privilege you need to log in as user "root" rather than the usual "bananapi". The default password for both those user accounts is "bananapi"

correct, but it is always better to login with user rights.
If root rights are needed use sudo

When I'm logged-in as user and type sudo its not asking for root. It's just asking for the users password and If what I'm doing really needs root then it will say "bananapi is not in the sudoers file.  This incident will be reported."
The one (there are others..) way to get root as user is to do.
  1. bananapi@lemaker:~$ su root
  2. Password:
  3. root@lemaker:/home/bananapi#
Copy the Code
Then to logout root type exit.
  1. root@lemaker:/home/bananapi# exit
  2. exit
  3. bananapi@lemaker:~$
Copy the Code
