I really would like to know how they have fixed the black flickering issues we've since the beginning with xbmc and external players. maybe mooving to a pure fb software has done the trick.

Willing to test aswel!

so? any luck?

To save, I noted that depends of the joypad you use.
In my case, using a joypad identified as GreenAsia, when exit the game, appear a menu with the options to save.
Using a joypad Multilaser (for this I had to download e new config file from https://github.com/libretro/retr ... ig/tree/master/udev), the menu don't apper, but I can save the progress pressing "Select" + "Right 1", and to load "Select" + "Right 2".
It save the progress if the game has the function to save too.

Thanks vanks! Now work fine.

I press PS button and after press Save State and the game save. Thanks.

its not stable because the composite AV out port is not working properly. The picture is out of scal ...

I don't know if you has already clear this problem, I just see your message, but I use Lakka since march in a CRT TV.
Also I have trouble with scale of the screen, but I found the solution modifying the script.bin file:
fb0_scaler_mode_enable = 0
I changed this parameter from 1 to 0.
After this, it worked great.
Of course, I changed the follow parameters too:
screen0_output_type = 2
screen0_output_mode = 14
