Black screen after inactivity

After a while of inactivity the screen goes black, and I can´t seem to get it to wake up again,is there a way to solve this?
It should be due to the "blanker" : hit a key or move your mouse may help.

But w/o knowing your OS, type of display, or anything else, it's obviously difficult to help.

No it doesnt help to hit a button.I use atm debian but its the same on raspian or lubuntu, the display is a HP 2207.
Leaving th Banana for more than about 1 hour means I have to reboot.

Did you tried to access it remotely ? To check if it is dead or if it's the blanker.

I can connect it with putty and its working.

So definitively, it's a blanker issue ... and normally hitting a key is expected to unblank.
I'm not using HDMI or even Debian so I can't help, but I think you may found some help on debian forums or on google.
