Use FFC type A for 5 inch touchscreen?

Hi,

I'm using a Lemaker 5 inch touchscreen on a Banana Pro running Android. The original cable which was included in the package is a type B with the connectors on the opposite sides.
This cable broke down so I've ordered new ones which turned out to be type A with the connectors on te same side. When I connect this type A cable, no signal is comming through to the screen because obviously the pinout is 'upsidedown'. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the configuration for the ports as shown here: http://wiki.lemaker.org/LCD_Module ?

If so, is there anyone who can put me on the right track?
