Upgrading to 15.08 - problems booting

I recently upgraded from 15.04 to 15.08.
After performing the upgrade my BananaPi wouldn't boot anymore, i.e. he tried to fetch the boot image with tftp (u-boot).
The reason:
During the update it failed silently to write the new files to /boot.
Solution:
I did a "mount -o remount rw /boot" before the upgrade.

I'm not sure if my problem was related to me updating 15.04 to jessie before the upgrade.
Just letting you know, in case anyone runs in the same trouble.

Your first partition most likely had/has filesystem errors therefore the fstab entry with 'defaults' and fsck interval 2 lead to a read-only mount. I would run fsck manually rather sooner than later.

Unfortunetaly there is zero error handling in Bananian's update.sh script.

Would you please file a bug report for this? We will do better with the next release
