Was anybody able to use the GPIO?
I used WiringPi ( ) or RPi.GPIO for Python, but no result.
Install RPi.GPIO :
I used this tutorial : ... pio-python-library/
but I was an error :

  1. root@raspberrypi:~/RPi.GPIO-0.5.5# ../
  2. Traceback (most recent call last):
  3.   File "../", line 13, in <module>
  4.     import RPi.GPIO as GPIO
  5. RuntimeError: This module can only be run on a Raspberry Pi!
  6. root@raspberrypi:~/RPi.GPIO-0.5.5#
Copy the Code
so I modify py_gpio.c in source dir.
I modify the  line 644 :

  1.    if (revision == -1)
Copy the Code

  1.    if (revision == -10)
Copy the Code

The Banana Pi GPIO has a few bugs, it would be solved in next image distribution. Or if you want to use it right now, I think you should better correct someting about GPIO dirver.

Ok, I'll wait the next image.
Thank you.

Hello !
Can you tell me when the new image distribution will be delivered ?

The GPIO mapping is a huge work. We are now correcting most bugs happened in CB image. And the next stage will correct the bugs on RP image, and at the same time do GPIO mapping work.
