Trouble

Boot from SSD

I now have a SSD hooked up to the banana which I would like to boot from, used the partitioning scheme from http://www.makepi.org/run-from-hard-drive/ but the cubieboard image has a different boot setup.

I copied the sdcard partition to the sda1 partition but how can I redirect the boot from sdcard files to the ssd?

still stuck on the SSD boot, found some stuff about uEnv.txt (root=/dev/sdaX ro rootwait) but not sure if I have to change some other bootrecords on the dd imaged sdcard. Can I just add that to the /boot/uEnv.txt or will this result in a no-go? Looking around at these images for the cubieboard banana:

the uboot seems not supporting booting from sata disks. you can try this.
