Micro sd card with Android on Bpro got write protected

Hi there,
For some reason it seems that my micro SD card got write protected for use in my PC. I've tried everything to remove the protection and be able to format the card and do a fresh installation of Android but nothing is working... I Keep getting the 'this disk is write protected' notification. Using SSHDroid allows me to write files to the card so something in Android seems to be causing the trouble... Does anyone know of a way to fix this? It happened to 3 cards already..
