Download and replace the kernel Image (uImage) and Device Tree (kernel.dtb) for having 1920x1080p Full HD Display Resolution on Linux.   (Download)

As you see in the image, the size is 1920x1080 which is Full HD resolution.
I use my Dell PC as HDMI Input so it really cannot detect that.
But if you use "xrandr" command you see that the Refresh Rate is "60Hz".

Thank you for posting this, I will try it.

The scaled 1024x600 desktop displayed as a 1080p signal is annoying with the standard distribution.

That's really easy,
If your OS is on SD card, just copy the files into the first partition of SD.
In other word, put the SD card into the Windows machine and your first drive of your SD can be accessed via Windows Explorer as the partition has formatted as vFat32.
Then copy the downloaded files over the existing one.

If you boot from eMMC, then boot your OS as normal. When your Linux OS loaded, you will see that the first partition mounted as a folder named "/misc". This is the same drive explained above and in Linux mounts as a folder.
Now copy the downloaded files over the existing and reboot.
In next reboot you will boot with updated 'kernel' and 'device tree' and you will see the resolution is change to 1920x1080.

If you like, you can download the latest Lubuntu 15.10 SD/eMMC image and the above Kernel and Device Tree already have been implemented in thoese images.
