Do you like the new forum design?

The forum design from spring 2015 was fine for me.
Than they changed it in summer 2015 - with many draw backs (fixed some by now).

Now they changed the design again, to this flat material design - I don't like it - not every change is GOOD.
To me, it lost again on quality. I miss the tree-structure to navigate.

I would rather see improvements in Software development - what I do not.

What is your thought?
Now more products we are developing, the tree structure design from spring 2015 is not good to run more than two products. So we changed the design to make it better for more products.

My thoughts? Bye bye...

Two Chinese idiom called "众口难调" and "先入为主".
So we try to balance the users demand and products.

You know what I really miss?  to JUMP within a forum.
Let's say I am in 'LeMaker Guitar' - General discussion (overview of all entries)

Now I want to JUMP to 'Review' (overview) just to see if there is a new entry.
Can you make that (General discussion, Review and so on)  visible  again - hidden on top just in the 'Hamburger Menu' is not user friendly

Hi Tido,

Thanks for the kind suggestion.

We'll add a slidebar on the left of all forum site just like the forum before. In order to make the users more convenient to JUMP to other sections.
If there is other suggestion to improve the user experience of community plz dont hesitate to point it out.

Thanks.

sounds good, I am curious how it looks like.

In the "overview'  it should always show the last poster's name and date - so I see if it is a new comment there.
Now it shows my name because I startet it, I guess.

yup, it shows the author's name only right now .
I think if there is a new reply you'll got a notice at the navigation. So we... deleted it.
will this make you confused ?

not confusing - but not enough information for the user

See here, leftside starter, right side last post.
This is a good example of a professional forum

For a quick overview, the layout should be easy to catch for the human's eye

This is confusing:
Sat Oct 10, 2015  (who cares about 'Sat' ? )
Mon Oct 19, 2015
Thu Oct 8, 2015

Better:
Oct 10, 2015
Oct 19, 2015
Oct 08, 2015 (the single number should carry a zero (0) in front of it

Total useless and confusing:
The day before yesterday 09:01 (okay lets think, today is Thursday, well yesterday was Wednesday that was the 5. Ahh so it was on the 5th)

And for God sake, why does it always Automagically Quote ??
