Banana Pi unstable/freezes

Hi folks,

my BPi runs 24/7 on the network and after some weeks it becomes unreachable. Once I attached my laptop to the serial port and got no response so it looks like it froze entirely. Only pressing the reset button helps to get it working again (even if the hardware watchdog is activated through systemd). I'm using arch linux arm with a recent kernel.

I have really no clue what's going on or what could cause this issue.

P.S. What's the difference between the "Banana Pi BPi-M1" offered on bananapi.com and the "Banana Pi" offered here? The PCBs look clearly different.
Do you seen anything in system's log ?
Are you confident with you're power adapter ? Do you monitoring PMU figures ?

My own bPI (LeMaker's one) is running Gentoo, drives my network, serves Apache + PHP + PostgreSQL webserver, DNLA, and smart home automation. It is stable as a rock and is rebooted only when I upgrade its OS or doing some modification on my 1-wire network.

It seems the current lemaker banana pi is based on banana pro. The PCB layout is similar.
