I don't get it.
The device is TTL 3.3v logic level (uart), guitar is TTL 3.3v logic level (uart), why one should use a voltage divider? Or even any kind of level converter?

I was referencing that he said 5V logic level and he used a logic level converter.
I know you do not need a voltage divider on a 3.3v connection if you need to connect it to a 3.3v logic level device

Sorry guys, i measured it, i think i mistaken it with 5v outputs on 40 pin header. its 3.3v. so you are right. it was after long hours of research about serial connection to rf module on android. i hadn't sleep for a long time. So what i did was using 3.3v to 3.3v level converter, which is totally pointless. Thanks for pointing it out.

Oh yea FYI the UART3 is not on the 40pin header it is with the ADC

You are wrong my friend. There is one as you said which is debug uart(as lemaker call it) if you read wiki. and there is another one as i use which is on the 40 pin header. You would know if you have read wiki. What is your purpose trying to humiliate people?

Look at http://wiki.lemaker.org/LeMaker_ ... ition_on_Base_Board  40 Pin GPIO definition. Specifically pin number 8 and 10.

P.S. this board sucks. Doesnt let me add proper links

Did I say that I was trying to humiliate you? Well of you think so then you have my apologies.

Also I was refering to UART Number 3 not UART0
