Bananian fails to boot with kernel 4.3.3

1 1447
If I update the kernel to 4.3.3 following these instructions…/160-bananian-kernel-4-3-3 on my BananaPro running Bananian 15.08 with all updates installed, it fails to boot. Removing uImage-next from the uboot partition makes it boot again. Does anybody know how to solve this? It's suspect it's related to incorrect loads in the boot.cmd script, but I can't figure out how to fix it.
I actually connected my UART cable to the pi now, doesn't seem related to uboot. This is where the output stops and it seems to hang afterwards.
