Banana Pro: After update to 16.04 sata hdd not detected

I just updated my banana pro from bananian 15.08 (with latest kernel 4.3.3) to bananian 16.04.
The update went very well and everything is working, except my hdd.

Before the update the hdd (connected via sata) was detected, listet as /dev/sda and I always had it mounted.
After the update the hdd is not detected and not listet under /dev/.

fdisk -l doesn't list the hdd either.
I can hear, that the hdd spins up.

Anyone has an idea how to get the hdd to work again?
Other than the update to 16.04 I didn't change anything.

Thank you very much!

Thank you igorpec,
it seems to be a problem that only occurs on banana pro.
I opened an issue with the bananian bug-tracker:

Nico over at the bug tracker showed me a workaround that fixed the problem:
Install u-boot-pro-bananian and reboot.

  1. sudo apt-get install u-boot-pro-bananian
  2. sudo shutdown -r now
Copy the Code
