[SOLVED] BPi-R1 - Bananian - Network settings

Hi,

after encounter some problems I finally had a workable network connection by using those settings I found here :

  1. root@appliance:~# cat /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/swconfig
  2. #!/bin/sh
  3. ifconfig eth0 up
  4. swconfig dev eth0 set reset
  5. swconfig dev eth0 set enable_vlan 1
  6. swconfig dev eth0 vlan 1 set ports '4 0 1 2 3 8t'
  7. swconfig dev eth0 set apply
  8. exit 0


  9. root@appliance:~# cat /etc/network/interfaces
  10. auto lo
  11. iface lo inet loopback
  12. auto eth0.1
  13. iface eth0.1 inet static
  14. address 192.168.1.120
  15. netmask 255.255.255.0
  16. gateway 192.168.1.1
