Hi,
The ADV7280 have the I2C and Parallel 8-bit camera interface, and i think you can connect with the Lemaker Guitar through it. then use the I2C bus to operate the registers of the ADV7280, and transfer the video stream by the Parallel 8-bit interface which be used by the ov5640. I think it can work after you initialize it correctly. if you want to known how to init the registers, please ask for help from the supplier of IC. About the driver of the Parallel 8-bit interface, maybe you can refer to the driver owl_camera

Hope these can help you.

Thanks for the pointers. Could you please help/suggest in adding i2c interface of the chip in device tree?

I am using adv7280-m which has i2c and mipi interface.

Thanks.

Thanks for the pointers. Could you please help/suggest in adding i2c interface of the chip in device ...

you can consider adding the i2c device(adv7280) to TWI2 which is connected to 40-Pin(Pin3,Pin5), and the device tree as follows.
  1.         i2c@b0178000 {
  2.                 i2c_num = <2>;
  3.                 clock-frequency = <400000>;
  4.                 status = "okay";
  5.                 pinctrl-names = "default";
  6.                 pinctrl-0 = <&i2c2_state_default>;

  7.                 adv7280@addr{
  8.                         compatible = "adv7280";
  9.                         reg = <addr>;
  10.                         ...
  11.                         ...
  12.                 };
  13.                ...
  14.                ...
  15.         }
Copy the Code
Attention: the "addr" indicate the address of the i2c device(adv7280).
