Hi All

I downloaded an XBMC image from here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= ... AxxQ3NmiOpafjpPqstA
It's working fine (out of the box), but I don't know what is the unix user/password.
I need it to conncet over SSH.

I tried usual values :
root/banana
xbmc/xbmc
xbmc/(no password)
... etc

Is someone aware about this ?

Regards,
ged
The convention seems to be to use "bananapi" as the default password for all users on all images.

The users:
root
bananapi
pi (used in some older raspbian images, I think)

ged
bananapi/bananapi to login via ssh
bananapi for the root password (su -)

oliv025
bananapi/bananapi is working fine.

Many thanks

IYTI
what means:

bananapi for the root password (su -) ?

I need sudo because my image doesn't have any pvr client installed.... :-/

@IYTI: You can get a root shell either with "su" or "sudo -s". Try "bananapi" or "pi" as password.

Since root/bananapi does not work, the trick is to ssh in with bananapi/bananapi
then switch user to root
su root
then add bananapi to sudoers
echo 'bananapi  ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL' >> /etc/sudoers
That's what I had to do to get full root..

yPlex "manual install" written for fedors originally but should work on any linux flavor, well that's the plan at least, if not you can go plex yourself
(plugins need to be in both /opt/plex/Library/Application Support and /usr/lib/plexmediaserver)

Start with plex latest synology arm7 build

set locale if you haven't already
this is fedora originally which why I had to figure this out, its local-gen in unbuntu but google for the exact inst
localectl set-x11-keymap us pc105 intl compose:menulist-x11-keymap-models

change ext to tgz from spk extract files to
/usr/lib/plexmediaserver

create library
/opt/plex/Library/Application Support

create user plex

chmod -R 777 /opt/plex
chmod -R 777 /usr/lib/plexmediaserver
(777 is probably not "safe" but it works)

chown -R plex /opt/plex
chown -R plex /usr/lib/plexmediaserver

touch /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/start.sh
