Hi,
The Mint Update Manger no longer recommends a kernel. Active kernel is 4.4.0-21. Twice I have received a system has crashed message inside a box while watching a Youtube video. I have been using update manager to update since 17.3. I have been using 18.0 for a good year, and then updated directly to 18.2. I thought that updating my kernel might help. I have all Intel Chips on a Dell Desktop Core 2 Duo. Which Kernel should I be using? I have tried installing several kernels. All of them had a AMD64 message on them, which I do NOT have. None were activated. How are you suppose to select a kernel for Intel chips?
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
