Burned diode D5

33 11845
I replaced my burned D5 with a 1N5819

seems you have soldered the diode in reverse!!

remove the diode, check with a multimeter if it's ok(or replace with a new one) and solder back with the correct polarity....the "ring"(cathode) of the diode should be adjacent to pin1 of U-14

Thanks it woks now!
At first i soldered it in the correct way, but it probably was a bit loose and had no electrical contact.
Then I choose to reverse it like shown my picture. And now I reversed it again and watched a bit more carefully on building propper connections.

nice. my world

We can’t do any thing if we burn the diode. There are no other ways of correcting it. It will fully damage and we can't do any repair on the diode. The new one is needed and you need to fix all of them in the correct position. And check them if they are correct or not.river ranch resort 55 communities in texas
