flakey micro usb port

0 24
I'm using a banana pro to run octoprint for two 3D printers, I keep having prints fail becuase the DC in port is flakey and I bump it while working on my other printer and it loses power. I've tried multiple usb cables and the one I'm using right now is new.  Is there anywhere on the board where I could just solder the 5Vsb wires from my printer's ATX PSU to that wouldn't bypass the power regulation?  If  not what is there anything else I can to short of replacing the connector (which is something I'm not quite confident enough in my soldering skills to do)?
