Troubleshoot the issues that cause Outlook to Crash when used with Office 365.

Microsoft Outlook is known as Mail Manager and it is considered as one of the important sources of email ids. With so many features Outlook has challenged various social networking giants. It has wonderful features but sometimes certain issues arise.



In this blog, we will solve the issue that causes outlook to crash when used with office 365.
To do this, follow the given instruction:


Investigate issues caused by add-ins:

  • Exit Outlook.

Open a Run dialog box. To do this follow below procedures:
  • Press the windows logo key+R.

Note- if you’re using windows 7 then, click Start, type Run in the search box.
  • Type Outlook/Safe, and then click OK.
  • Click options on the file menu (if the issue is fixed) and then click Add-Ins.
  • Select COM Add-ins, click GO.
  • Try to clear all the checkboxes in the list and then click OK.
  • Now you can Restart Outlook. If somehow the issue doesn’t occur, start adding the add-ins one at a time until the issue occurs.

Repair office:
  • Go to control panel, then click Uninstall a program.
  • Then right-click the entry for your office installation, and then click change, after this click online repair.

Run outlook Diagnostics:
  • Run the Outlook won’t start to fix the issues.

Note- Click Run when you’re prompted by your browser.  
  • If your tool doesn’t work, go to Windows to start Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365.
  • On the first screen, select outlook and then select next.

Create a new outlook profile.
  • Go to control panel and then click Mail.
  • Click Show Profiles.
  • Then select the profile that you want to remove, and after selecting click remove.
  • Click Add.
  • Specify the user name, the primary SMTP address, the password. Then, click next.
  • When you are prompted, enter your login credentials and then click OK.
  • When your setup is finished, click finish.

Run SARA Advanced Diagnostics:
  • This step creates detailed information about your Outlook configuration and provides solutions for any known issues that are detected.

To do this:
  • Click Outlook Advanced Diagnostics.
  • Click Run (when you are prompted by your browser).
