OpenGL with Java and Jogl - failed to open vchiq device

Hi,
I am having problems starting a java application that uses the OpenGl API with JOGL.

The error message I get is:
failed to open vchiq device

With some research I found that vchiq is some kind of interface to the graphic chip that is present in the Raspberry Pi but no in the Banana Pi.

My questions are:
1. Is it correct that there is no "vchiq" on the Banana Pi?
2. Is there an alternative so I can use Java with Jogl on the Banana Pi?
3. Are there alternatives to Jogl as an OpenGl API, for example PyOpenGl (Though I'm more familiar with Java)?

Thank's for your help!

Thanks, I already found some threads concerning this issue but there seems to be no "vchiq" device on the banana pi, so this does not work.

1. Is it correct that there is no "vchiq" on the Banana Pi?

Yes. vchiq is a hardware found in raspberry pi and not in BPI.

2. Is there an alternative so I can use Java with Jogl on the Banana Pi?
3. Are there alternatives to Jogl as an OpenGl API, for example PyOpenGl (Though I'm more familiar with Java)?

The OpenGL drivers for BPI do not have OpenGL acceleration yet.

An alternative is to use the "embedded Java SDK's" then build "jogl"

What is exactly vchiq?
I've got same problem elsewhere after compiling RetroArch.
