Without any additional sensors.

Don't spam!

There is no "temp1_input" file in "/sys/devices/platform/sunxi-i2c.0/i2c-0/0-0034" on Bananian

Sorry while posting,I thought I was in the Raspbian thread rather than Bananian and the links do confirm the temp sensor is working in Raspbian3.1

You can try two things
Either use the Raspbian3.1 kernel with your Bananian
or
(not verified)
Compile the kernel yourself using the Bananian ".config" with  the option "CONFIG_AXP_HWMON" and "CONFIG_HWMON" set to "y"

or request Nico to enable cpu temp sensing in the next release.

+1 it would be great to have with bananian

I don't think that will help. Those options are already set to be modules, but I don't think there is any module for this in bananian.

From what I've seen elsewhere it seems that the temperature sensor is part of the touch panel support and needs another module adding.

There was a patch (here) to add a suitable module, but can't see that (or similar) as being added to either the bananapi tree or it's upstream. I'll have to get lubuntu installed and see how it works.

sashijoseph is right. We need set these two to y

So please include this change in new release

ok, tried a recompile with those set from m to y and it does indeed all work.

Will be included in our 14.09 release.
