Hey there,
I set up an autostart script to start rdestkop after startup.

Now i want to disable the option to escape out of fullscreen via STRG+ALT+ENTER,
I also want to disable STRG+ALT+F1, so the user can't quit rdesktop.

Does anyone have a suggestion for me to disable these shortcuts?

Help is appreciated

Ok, I found out how to disable STRG+ALT+Fn:
Terminal:
  1. sudo -i gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Copy the Code
and add the following lines:
  1.   Section "ServerFlags"
  2.   Option "DontVTSwitch" "true"
  3.   EndSection
Copy the Code

But I still got the problem to disable STRG+ALT+ENTER, users still can escape the fullscreen.

some suggestions would be nice

If nothing works you could try disabling fullscreen toggle in source and then compiling rdesktop.
Look in xkeymap.c in the sources.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do now, thanks for your comment.
Is the file stored anywhere in lubuntu?

Otherwise I would unpack the tar.gz from rdesktop.org --> edit the xkeymap.c file --> pack them back to tar.gz and try to install the package.

I'm quiet new to linux, don't judge me if I do it laboriously

I struggle with the installation.
Downloaded the rdesktop-1.8.2.tar.gz --> unpacked it via
  1. tar -xzvf rdesktop-1.8.2.tar.gz
Copy the Code
then changed the xkeymap.c file
after that I switched to the directory where the unpacked rdesktop-1.8.2 folder was
via
  1. cd /.../rdesktop-1.8.2
Copy the Code
typed
  1. ./configure
Copy the Code
into the Terminal.

It gave me some error which I fixed by installing following things

  1. sudo apt-get install build-essential
  2. sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
  3. sudo apt-get install libgssglue-dev
Copy the Code
and tried again to use the ./configure command to install the package.

I can't use the
  1. rdesktop -f server
Copy the Code
Am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: I did something wrong .-.
forgot to do following steps
  1. make
  2. make install
Copy the Code
