1. Can I use expand root fs when I updated 14.08 to 14.09? I don't want to lose data.
2. cpufreq-info command give me: "current CPU frequency is 600 MHz." How to increase CPU frequency? Is it automatic?

1. You can. But if somethings goes wrong you will lose all data! Make a backup before changing filesystem size!
2. Yes, it scales dynamically between 600 and 1000 Mhz. You can change this by editing /etc/rc.local but I do not recommend to do so.
You can also overclock your CPU by adjusting those parameters.

Hello,
Update was running – only this error-messages:
[....] Loading cpufreq kernel modules...ERROR: could not insert 'cpufreq_powersave': Exec format error
ERROR: could not insert 'cpufreq_stats': Exec format error
ERROR: could not insert 'cpufreq_userspace': Exec format error
ERROR: could not insert 'cpufreq_conservative': Exec format error
done (none).

But I see no problems. Thanks!!!!
Once I miss the ax25-driver-modules and the ax25 protcoll.. So I must build my new own kernel..
Please – it’s possible to make the ax25 available in the next update?????

It is safe to ignore these messages. It is just that the new kernel isn't loaded yet while updating. After reboot everyting should be fine.

Could you please write a feature request in our bugtracker? https://dev.bananian.org/
There will be a minor update pushing a new kernel into Bananian Linux. Maybe we can integrate the ax25 modules.

Thanks for the new bananian build 14.09.

I can now use usb flash as rootfs with GUID partition (if you have more than one usb attached)
