this disables OTG but does not fix the bug itself. It's only a workaround.

Bananian 14.11 fixes the bug. See https://www.bananian.org/download

Still NO GO for me.

Even after the upgrade I had to copy the script.bin.otg-off on the script.bin to be able to boot.

Hi Bananian, with all due respect (and gratitude ) for your work, I already tried two different power supplies , could you please explain me why you think it is an "electrical" problem and not a software one?

Anyway, tomorrow I try a third one.

because I had many similar problems and it always was the power supply.
But there will be a minor release disabling OTG by default because this seems to affect so many people:

@Bananian

Lets not jump to conclusions so soon

It's not because you think you have fixed your problem using another PSU, that the problem reported by angeloD comes from his PSU...

I have the same problem using a Hewlett Packard PSU 5.3V 2A... and another 2A PSU coming from a USB HUB.

Moreover the banana pi doesn't eat more than 0.78A during the boot... (I have monitored with an Amperemeter on it with a working distrib)
We are far than 2A...

Yes I know, but (and I don't know why) with some power adaters it would work. I had lot's of support cases regarding this issue .

But I am aware of the problem and will release a minor update fixing this issue by disabling OTG in default configuration: https://dev.bananian.org/roadmap_page.php?version_id=9

Will be released later today or tomorrow.
