Hi,

I just got my Banana Pi and got it working with Raspbian and SSH. Unfortunately, I don't get a signal over HDMI. I read that there is a bug/problem with the HDMI chipset or so. Do you have any suggestions on how to get it running? A Banana Pi without HDMI isn't worth it for me.

have a great day

I also suggest to check HDMI cable for the first try.  Then check with a HDMI-to-VGA cable to confirm the HDMI connector output is on.

I just tried the normal Amazon Basic cable, it didn't work either. I might order the new one which is/supports 1.4 HDMI. I hope I get it working with this. I don't have a HDMI-to-VGA adapter though.

I got it working!!! I just changed
  1. disp.screen0_output_mode=EDID:1280x720p50
Copy the Code
to
  1. 1920x1080p60
Copy the Code
So this means that it boots with a default resolution of 1920x1080p with 60 FPS, doesn't it?

yeah....just remove the "EDIT:" from the above ...disp.screen0_output_mode=EDID:1280x720p50
This will disable the "probe" on the terminal and just set these fixed  settings for dislpay.
