Thank you for doing this. I'm up and running - just installed Kodi 15.2.

Also consider using SuperSu which lets you give root access to certain apps when required.

on the new image, it supersu failes to set itself up, give the "binary already occupied" error, BUT I can still use "su" in terminal emulator by jack pavel. I can also carry out root commands , such as reboot, confirming that it was given root.
