The ethernet on my Banana Pi board appears to be malfunctioning.|
If I plug it into my switch, all the switch ports flash, on, off, and no traffic flows across the switch at all.
Unplug the Banana, and the switch resumes working.
This board has been working fine on the switch, the problem started happening suddenly.
Both lights on the Banana LAN port flash breifly on, then off for a couple of seconds then on. This flashing on the Banana corresponds with the lights on the switch.
dmesg reports LINK DOWN, LINK UP, LINK DOWN, etc.
Have tried rebooting the board, but still happens.
Running this OS:
$ cat /etc/issue
Linaro 13.04 \n \l
Am getting by with a USB Wifi adapter at the moment. But really need to know if this sounds like something wrong with the LAN port that can be fixed, or if the board is broken now? Been running for quite a while okay until maybe 2 days ago. No power spikes that I'm aware of.
