Dear All,

The Bananian Kernel is it possible to support xen?

Or The what is the procedure that compile the kernel to replace Bananian Kernel?
(The bootloader is different, it is not grub / lilo)

And this url
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARM ... xtensions/Allwinner
The guide is compatible with Bananian and Banana PI?

Thank you very much ~~

Best Regards
Using a recent kernel (not 3.4.x) it should be possible. I have no experience so far, however. Have you given it a try?

I'm also very interested in this thread.

I would like to play with that guide to see if I can get somewhere.

I opened a thread for KVM to use it with a 3.14 kernel (as far as I know should be supported).

If you want to use a more recent kernel, I would recommend using mainline and Igor's build script: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/BananaPI-Debian

Just change BRANCH="next" and KERNEL_CONFIGURE="yes" in build.sh and you will end up with a completely usable image like the ready ones Igor also provides: http://www.igorpecovnik.com/2014/09/07/banana-pi-debian-sd-image/

For the KVM stuff you need a different u-boot (change in lib/configuration.sh): https://rwmj.wordpress.com/2013/ ... -on-the-cubietruck/
