It would be nice if shutdown would work within xbmc. I have a workaround but it's not so pretty. I remapped the power button like this:
  1. <power>System.Exec("/root/shutdown.sh")</power>
Copy the Code
and created a shutdown.sh script:
  1. sync;poweroff -f
Copy the Code
Now it works.

remote.xml, because I use an old IR remote controller.

Now, if you are still a user of LeMedia v1.0 , there is no need to download the image of LeMedia v1.1 ,and we release a update script called "lemedia-update" in our github , run lemedia-update then it will update your LeMedia v1.0 to v1.1 without changing your some important configurations. More information please refer to https://github.com/LeMaker/scripts . Any bugs or advise can be reported here, thank you.

Using method as below,
firstly:
  1. cd /usr/local/bin  && wget --no-check-certificate -c https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LeMaker/scripts/master/lemedia-update
Copy the Code
secondly:
  1. chmod +x lemedia-update
Copy the Code
thirdly:
It's necessary to link your Banana Pi/Pro to the network, then run:
  1. lemedia-update
Copy the Code

I have noticed 2 things with this release.

there is often a blinking cursor on the bottom left part of the screen.

Streaming from the plugin FTV does not work.

The link is wrong..
https://raw.githubusercontent.co ... ster/lemedia-update

Looking at the script, it installs wireless stuff - I don't need wireless as I've got a network cable to plug into...
Overwriting uEnv is one idea, and I get that a update script *Should* assume that you've not modified it - but a safer bet is to ask the user if they want to replace.

I can probably suggest and find 100 things wrong, but I suppose I better give thanks for at least one - starting an upgrade script! Good call, as this saves not having to download another image (1.2?!)

Is it possible to install a desktop environment to LeMedia? Also, is the repositories the same as Raspbian?

Thank you.

Is LeMedia just based on Wheezy, or on Bananian? I guess i'd better choose for LeMedia when i want to use XBMC?
